Photovoltaic System Integration and Design
This is an example of a niche product I had offered to dog breeders and handlers for "competitive dog sports". I am currently out of inventory, but am considering reoffering them for the 2009 season. If you're interested, contact me.
Solar Fans are ideal for use on location and "field trials". This solar panel is very safe, because of the low voltage. They are perfectly designed to provide the amount of energy that is needed to operate the included fan.
The fans are 10" and hang on a dog cage or they can stand up. They can run on
the solar panel, AC adapter (included), or batteries (not included).
The Solar panels are the size of a briefcase and fold open. They have a
handle for easy carrying and built in legs that pop out so the panel can be
aimed at the sun. There is even a flashing charge indicator.
The solar panel comes with a fan and adapters to plug in other things too.
The cord between the solar panel and fan is 10 feet so you can place the solar
panel in the sun and run the fan 10 feet away.

The kit includes a fan, and AC adapter, the 4 solar panel adapters, and a solar panel.
The adapter with the male end can be
attached to the solar panel and be used to charge a car battery through the
car's "cigarette
lighter" socket.
The adapter with the female end of the cigarette lighter
can be attached to the Solar Panel. It can then be used to charge a phone that
works in your car.
The adapter with the alligator clips can be attached to the
terminals of a battery to charge the battery. (Red on
Positive and Black on Negative)
The adapter for the fan can be used to operate the fan in
high or low speed in normal sun. (Now this cord is 10 feet longer!) |
