How Much Does Leopard Electric Charge?

We charge $200 per service call as a minimum and our average hourly rates are between $85 and $155. The average cost to hire our electricians is $325 to $600 for small jobs or $2,000 to $10,000 for larger projects.

Are You Qualified and Insured to Perform Electrical Work?

Leopard Electric is fully licensed and qualified to do work in the State of Michigan. Copies of our insurance and Electrical Contractors License are available by request. We are fully capable of pulling permits for any electrical wiring job, big or small.

Do You Provide Free Estimates?

Estimates for larger projects like solar installation, hot tub wiring, home rewiring, and generator installation are free of charge. Service-related calls will be charged $100 minimum and a $325 for-a-job minimum but Leopard will waive this fee in good faith if it makes sense to do so.

Why Should I Hire a Licensed Electrician to Perform My Electrical Wiring?

Licensed electricians have extensive knowledge and experience working with wires, circuits, and other electrical systems so that they don't put you or your house or family at risk. Licensed electricians have the proper training to carry out any kind of electrical work you might need. If you choose to do the work yourself, improper installation puts your family at risk and may run the risk of invalidation of your homeowner's insurance policy. Additionally, only electrical contractors can pull a permit.

What Happens If I Perform Work Without a Permit?

In addition to the safety risks in putting your family and property in danger, performing work without a permit may open you up to fines, liability (You may be responsible for damage even if you have insurance), denied claims, and legal issues.
